Terms & rules

Slotmaxxing is a business-to-business paid advertising leaderboard. Every listing is a disclosed paid advertisement. Checkout remains fail-closed while the dedicated merchant, tax and operator configuration is completed.

Who may buy

• You must be at least 18, purchase exclusively for a trade, business or profession, and be authorised to bind the identified business.
• You must control the promoted domain and complete DNS ownership verification before a first purchase.
• You must be authorised to use the destination, name, trademarks and copy you submit. The information must be accurate and non-misleading.
• Consumers may not purchase during the initial B2B launch.

How ranking works

• New listings start at $2. Existing listings can increase their total by at least $1, in whole-dollar totals.
• Despite the name, Slotmaxxing is not gambling, a lottery or a game of chance. Payments buy advertising placement; there is no wager, random outcome, prize or cash-equivalent reward.
• “Eligible total” means completed payments less refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent or otherwise invalid amounts.
• Higher eligible totals rank higher. Equal totals keep the listing with the earlier first eligible payment above; if two ledger timestamps are identical, the immutable listing ID is the final stable tie-break.
• Payments do not buy editorial endorsement, targeting or a recommendation. No personal or behavioural signal affects rank.
• Three-hour takeovers are disabled until their payment and concurrency controls have separately passed review.

What you buy

• Publication of one clearly labelled paid advertisement and outbound link while the listing remains active and Slotmaxxing continues to operate.
• No guarantee of visitors, clicks, sales, exclusivity, a fixed rank or a minimum time at a rank.
• The Stripe submit page displays the exact tax-inclusive total charged. For an existing listing, the charge is only the difference between its effective total, any live reservation and the new requested total.
• Directional click and visitor counters are abuse-filtered product analytics, not audited advertising measurements.
• The initial publication term ends when the current DNS verification expires, no later than 180 days after verification. Re-verification may extend availability while the service continues; it never guarantees a rank.

Ordering and confirmation

The contract language is English. Before payment you can review and correct the purchasing business, advertiser identity, destination, copy, total, tax information and accepted Terms version. Slotmaxxing stores the accepted Terms version and order record. Stripe creates an archivable paid invoice and payment confirmation; the monitored support address on the Legal page can provide another copy.

Allowed content

Only legitimate public software or startup product domains verified by DNS are eligible at launch. The following are prohibited: illegality; malware, phishing or deceptive redirects; impersonation or rights infringement; adult content; hate or violence; politics or elections; gambling, betting, casinos, lotteries or prize promotions; weapons; tobacco, drugs or controlled substances; unauthorised health claims; investment or crypto promotions; products regulated for minors; chat invites; shorteners; undisclosed affiliate links; or anything prohibited by our payment or hosting providers.

Moderation and reports

Every new advertisement and every owner-authorised copy change starts hidden in manual review. Payment never auto-approves content. The operator targets a decision within two business days. If an initial advertisement is rejected before first publication, charges tied to that never-published review are refunded to the original payment method. If a later paid change is rejected before that revision is supplied, only the remaining charge recorded for the current unserved review is refundable; historical payments for an already-published placement are excluded. Re-verification review without a new payment creates no refund duty. If content is removed after publication because the advertiser breached these Terms, no refund is due except where mandatory law requires otherwise. We may approve, reject, demote, suspend or remove content or payment credit that is illegal, unsafe, misleading, fraudulent or non-compliant. A blocked moderation record cannot be reactivated by paying again. Submit a notice through the report form; we record the notice, return a reference, assess it individually and record the decision, reasons and available human reconsideration route.

Payments, reversals and service failures

Stripe-hosted Checkout is the only supported payment route. Rank credit is created only after a signed Stripe event exactly matches the server-created order. Refunds and active disputes reduce eligible totals; a full reversal removes the funded benefit. Duplicate charges, a technically unfulfilled paid order or operator cancellation will be investigated and, where due, corrected or refunded through the original payment method. Losing rank to a valid higher eligible total is not a service failure.

Advertising identity and data

Each live entry identifies the legal person on whose behalf the advertisement appears and, when different and legally required, the purchasing business. Slotmaxxing uses no personal targeting and provides advertisers only aggregate directional counters. Submitted copy is licensed to Slotmaxxing solely to review, display and distribute the paid placement during its eligible term.

Changes and availability

These terms are versioned. Material changes apply prospectively and will be shown before a new payment. Slotmaxxing may discontinue the service, subject to mandatory law and any correction or refund owed for a service not supplied. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
